Death always brings views to articles. But this time around along with the recently deceased the top entry is someone who was mistakenly called dead.

2	James A. Garfield	1,624,936	The oft-forgotten 20th POTUS and the focus of the widely acclaimed Netflix miniseries Death by Lightning. The series depicts Garfield's (Michael Shannon) election and presidency, as well as how his path crossed with #13, who ended up assassinating him.
3	2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election	1,602,520	On November 14, the election results from the previous week were declared and all 243 seats were filled for the 18th Bihar Assembly session to begin on November 20. A reported 2,616 people contested for the seats. Incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will assume his office for a record tenth term.
4	Frankenstein (2025 film)	1,442,277	Guillermo del Toro has finally made the monster movie that he has been obsessed with remaking ever since he saw the 1931 film as a child. Typically a gothic horror director, del Toro called the genre "[his] church" and "Boris Karloff (who played the 1931 monster) [his] Messiah." The film had a limited theatrical release in October and was released on Netflix on November 7.
5	Pluribus (TV series)	1,283,874	Vince Gilligan continues to make television magic with this Apple TV post-apocalyptic science fiction series starring Rhea Seehorn in the lead role as a woman seemingly not affected to join a hive mind. This critically acclaimed series is currently airing new episodes weekly, while a second season is on the way as well.

7	Zohran Mamdani	923,175	The mayor-elect of New York City after winning the election earlier this month, is set to begin his term on January 1, 2026 as he is set to become the city's first Muslim and first South Asian mayor.
8	ChatGPT	861,596	We're getting tired of writing about this. And authors are worried their works are basically being stolen to teach chatbots.
9	SS Edmund Fitzgerald	770,037	SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a lake freighter operating in the Great Lakes of North America. On November 10, 1975, the ship was caught in a severe storm in Lake Superior and sank with the loss of all 29 crew members. The sinking is one of the best-known in the Great Lakes, due in large part to the ballad "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by the Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot.
10	Predator: Badlands	747,605	Although considered a standalone in the Predator franchise, this recent film is part of the new era of the franchise, with Dan Trachtenberg at helm. It even heavily references a corporation from the Alien franchise, the series famously crosses over with. Badlands follows a young Predator, trying to prove himself to his father, taking on an apex creature on a neighboring planet. He enlists the help of a damaged synthetic whose team was destroyed by the creature. Unlike the other two Trachtenberg Predators (one of whom is actually named opposite, Prey), the film was released theatrically and has already made $136 million worldwide.
11	Chester A. Arthur	736.264	#2's vice president, who became the 21st POTUS after the murder, something that is pointed out in Die Hard with a Vengeance and thus helped many people remember one of the most forgettable presidents. Nick Offerman plays him in Death by Lightning.
12	Jacob Elordi	723,469	This Australian actor has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of The Creature in #4.
13	Charles J. Guiteau	664,697	A deluded admirer of #2 who ended up being his assassin, played by Matthew Macfayden in Death by Lightning.
14	6-7 (meme)	662,420	One spot below 6+7, that would make more sense than this meme. (the image to the left also has more effort, being NATO number flags for 6 and 7 at a 6:7 proportion)
15	Jeffrey Epstein	635,644	The so-called Epstein files continue to cast a shadow over US politics. On November 12, the United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released 20,000 pages which cast new questions into the relationship between the disgraced financier and president Donald Trump. Two days later, Trump asks attorney-general Pam Bondi to investigate Epstein's ties with prominent Democrats, including former president Bill Clinton. Now that the latest government shutdown has also ended, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which will require the Department of Justice to declassify and release all files relating to Epstein, is up for a vote. However, even if it passes both the House and Senate, it will need Trump's signature to become law, which is unlikely given Trump's consistent characterization of the files as a "hoax", despite a campaign promise to release them. Trump also fell out with the Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, formerly one of his most vocal supporters, over her supporting the release of the files.
16	Cleto Escobedo III	634,868	Escobedo led the house band for Jimmy Kimmel Live! from its debut in 2003. On November 11, Escobedo's death was announced by Kimmel.
17	Ed Gein	533,806	The Netflix biographical crime drama anthology series Monster, for its third season this year focuses on this convicted murderer, suspected serial killer. Unlike its predecessors, the season received negative reviews and was deemed inferior but, regardless a fourth season based on another murder suspect is already in production.
18	2026 FIFA World Cup qualification	523,843	The ball rolled to determine more national football teams that will play all across North America next year. Most eyes were on Europe, where 2018 finalists France and Croatia booked their spots and four-time champion Italy will possibly again go to the runner-ups play-off and risk the embarrassment of 3 straight missed Cups. But it should be noted that without three strong competitors automatically qualified as hosts, North/Central America might see the qualification of two Dutch-related dark horses, a current territory in the island of Curaçao, and their former colony Suriname (which is South American but plays in the other America to face weaker competition!).

20	Mia Goth	505,538	"I'm a staaaar!" The two leading women in #4, namely Victor Frankenstein's mother and his brother's fiancée, are played by this English actress of Brazilian and Canadian descent, not her first dual role in a horror production given she was Pearl and Maxine on X (who went on to have their own movies in Pearl and Maxxxine). Goth's also one of many actors filming Christopher Nolan's version of The Odyssey.
21	The Running Man (2025 film)	499,236	Like #10, another return to an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie released in 1987, only this time around Edgar Wright attempted a closer adaptation of the ~~Stephen King~~ Richard Bachman dystopian novel about a man trying to survive a deadly reality show, now played by Glen Powell. It opened at #2 in the box office behind Now You See Me: Now You Don't, which was far from entering this list.
22	Richard Burton	487,260	This Welsh actor was honored on November 10 with blue plaques in Pontrhydyfen, the village where he was born, and Port Talbot, the town where he was raised, on what would have been the centennial of his birth. Considered one of the finest actors of his generation, Burton died in 1984 from an intracerebral hemorrhage.
23	Virginia Giuffre	475,111	One of the most prominent accusers of #15, Giuffre was identified in one of the released emails by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt as having spent time with Trump at Epstein's property. Before her suicide in April, Giuffre never accused Trump of any wrongdoing. Another email also appeared to confirm Epstein had taken a photograph of Giuffre together with the former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, despite the latter's repeated denials of having met her.
24	All Her Fault	454,587	Sarah Snook stars in this Peacock series, released on November 6, as a self-made wealth manager who desperately searches for her missing son and recruits a detective (Michael Peña) who uncovers secrets within her family and those of the people whom her son was visiting.
25	Sydney Sweeney	450,010	One of the most discussed actresses of the decade produced and starred in Christy, a biopic of boxer Christy Martin and her life of lesbianism, drug addiction and survival of a murder attempt. Sweeney's fame didn't help bring people to theaters, as the film opened to a paltry $1.3 million (not even one tenth of the budget) that is one of the worst first weekends for a movie in over 2000 screens.
